Letting Your Customers Know

There’s no question the world has changed in the last month. The question is, have you changed? Don’t assume the world is not working. Many are continuing to work and often harder than they were before. No one knows how long this will go on for sure, but there’s no question that it will have an end. When that comes, will you be hitting the ground running or scrambling to find a way to get back to work?

  2. Adjust how you and your team work together – it’s not just about keeping the business going, but how you keep it going. Many things can be accomplished through non-interaction. Set up the tools you need to work remotely or within the means you can.
  3. Change how you are working with your customers – make sure your customers know that you are open for business and taking their safety into account. Work through the Internet or over the phone if possible. If not, make sure to set up the necessary safety measures to let your customers know you are concerned for them.
  4. Reassure your customers – let everyone know that you are doing business and will continue to do business. It’s comforting to people that you are continuing to work and keep your business operational while taking into account all the safety measures necessary.

As long as you let your customers know you are still in operation, you should continue to see business moving forward. People need to work and working is something that keeps the mind off some of the concerns of the world. It’s a good time to let people know you are working and your business is operational and ready to get to work for them. Make sure they know it.
