It’s a wonderful time to think and rethink about what we went through collectively in 2019 and even before that, but it’s also a great time to reset your business. Sometimes, a few changes are all that is necessary but sometimes it requires a full reboot. 2020 will not be like any other year. In fact, no year is like any other year. They are all different and all offer great opportunities and tremendous pitfalls. Be on the lookout for both.
The opportunities for 2020 are numerous and vary by business. The economy in general has experienced an unprecedented boom without much in way of correction. Though the general consensus is that there will be a pull back at some point, it’s not clear when or how severe it will be. It’s important to be ready for it but not at the expense of the potential opportunities available.
An important question we all want answered is, “What does 2020 hold? “ But, an even more important question we should be asking is “What does the next 5 years hold?” One of the main reasons we have ups and downs is because we think in small terms, and the terms are getting smaller and smaller. We need to prepare for good times and bad times. Think ahead and plan ahead for both directions.
